Chitika Unveils Mobile Shopping for ShopLincs.com

Mobile price alerts feature has made its debut on Chitika's ShopLinc.com

Boston, MA - Mobile shopping has made its debut on Chitika's shoplinc.com and will soon be available on affiliates' branded ShopLincs. The new feature, the Price Alert system , notifies shoppers via e-mail or cell phone text message when a product reaches their target price.

The Price Alert system allows shoppers to set their own price and be alerted on-the-go via their cell phone. The feature will be extended to Chitikas 12,000 blog and website publishers later this month. Later this quarter, a WAP enabled version of ShopLinc.com will make its debut to the general public.

The world market for mobile marketing and advertising is expected to total $3 billion this year according to ABI Research, a New York-based market research firm.
